Default August Welfare Costs For LA County Released

Quote:
New statistics from the Department of Public Social Services reveal that illegal aliens and their families in Los Angeles County collected nearly $37 million in welfare and food stamp allocations, announced Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

In August, illegals collected over $19 million in welfare assistance and over $17 million in monthly food stamp allocations, for a projected annual cost of $432 million. Nearly twenty five percent of all welfare and food stamps benefits is going directly to the children of illegal aliens.

“Illegal immigration continues to have a devastating impact on Los Angeles County taxpayers,” said Antonovich. “Annually, the cost of illegal immigration to Los Angeles County taxpayers exceeds one billion dollars, which includes $220 million for public safety, $400 million for healthcare, and $432 million in welfare allocations. This does not include millions of dollars for education.”

And the state is wondering why it's bankrupt and facing a financial crisis. It's going broke from all that cheap 'hard-working' labor.

Congress and state legislature doesn't listen to the people. What can we do?
The ninth district just ignored a suit brought by my county (couple months ago), to stop employers from helping illegals forge documents and apply for local welfare. It's disgusting.

I dug up a pdf from the state's website a couple of years ago that had stats on the welfare programs, showing over 48% of recipients were foreign born women. Males weren't included, since Clinton' 'welfare reform' legislation has pretty much dropped men from the rolls as 'ineligible'.

California is famous for its recall elections and referendum drives; I would think they would carry on this tradition. You can have judges removed, since it appears they're the main roadblocks.

To be fair men haven't been able to draw welfare for a long time before Clinton.

Thing is I cannot do a thing about those judges. I live in Idaho within the district of the 9th circuit. The 9th circuit is in California How crazy is that?

And I made the point to call attention to what many don't know. Although I am in Obama's camp at this point, I live in a very conservative state with religious and common sense values. You would think we would have a district court that reflects the values of the people. Like I would think L.A. would not care much for a conservative court presiding over their issues. One that can stop their suits or grievances so that they are financially unable to continue the process. That is not right, but we don't know what to do about it.

Hand grenades??? Just check in with your local Aryan Nation compund (we all know that Idaho is full of them ), I'm sure they'd be glad to loan you a few, just wear a low cut "White Power" t-shirt, and they'll probably fall all over themselves to help out.

Welfare for illegal aliens is wrong, IMO.
Spencer Collins has a great thread on other costs from illegal aliens to the American tax-payer, like in prison costs, etc, etc...

I would be curious if Schwarzenegger made any attempts for his budget balancing efforts along this approach.
I say that whole-heartedly thinking it SHOULD NOT be his tasking to do so, and if he tried I think it would be an uphill battle that wouldn't possibly bear economic fruit until some later year in the future.

Unfortunately for Commie-fornia/Mexiforina a law like Oklahoma's HB 1804/ Oklahoma Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act of 2007 would never pass in Mexifornia and even if it did anti-American scum rat lawyers would sue to have the law struck down in the left circuit court.

Short Title:
The person who introduced that bill would be burned at the stake in California.
As I was telling Farnsworth, we here in Idaho tried to prosecute employers for actual crimes involving illegals getting documents and applying for welfare, and the 9th dist., which is out of la-la land didn't think the case had any merit. It was well prepared and the City that brought it thought they had a racketeering case due to four businesses being caught redhanded giving actual seminars on how to obtain legal looking documents, as well as how to apply for services.
So we can say it's California's problem (I know that's not your implication, but some do look at it that way), but not only do they rule my part of the country, they export their laws and leftist crap to the entire nation.
I'm just venting. Thanks for the chat.
