It's all appening so fast. Maybe it can be found now but as of last night, I couldn't find the whole bill online just excerpts. I suspect we won't be able to find the new one till it's done I hope that is not the case, but the othr one wasn't on the house website.

You know, you're right, it isn't there, and that means most people haven't read it, either ... so, what does that tell you about all the 'debates' about whether it's good or bad? ...

Don't feel bad; most of the House members voting on it haven't read it either. They don't care what's in it, they're voting how their party leadership or their lobbyists are telling them to vote on it.

Right or wrong. Barney Frank tied this around the Republicans neck. And they can't shake it.

I like Barney. He cracks me up. I remember years ago when we were bailing out an Airline company. The congress was voting to give the airlines billions with no strings attached. Barney went on the floor and said. "Why don't we just buy airline tickets for the American people? That way the airline gets the money and people get something out of it" How could you argue with that. Too funny.

There are other leaders besides the Party whips, and there are lobbyists opposing this bailout as well. It's not like these pols suddenly developed principles or anything ...

Makes me question what type of "leader" McCain could be when he, the PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, and Bush, the ACTUAL PRESIDENT, can't muster up majority support within their own party...

Leadership you canNOT count on ...
