It is time for real Christians to stand up and say we oppose the politicization of our most private and spiritual interpretations of our higher power.
Oh yeah...

I say you get Reverend Sharpton, Reverend Jackson, Reverend Jerimiah Wright, and Father Pfleger on the horn right now and make it happen!...

Jackson is a Politician. I don't know who the heck Pfledger is. And I only heard of Wright after Obama started running ahead of the pack. The right wing conservative has been in my church, down the street and in my face for a long time. At least since the eighties that I can remember. These are real flesh and blood preachers and church members who try to persuade me that a vote for a Democrat is the same as a vote for the devil.
One where I took my children for a long time decided to get into politics, He said Clinton (at the beginning of his term) needed to go out into the wilderness like Nebuchadnezzar for 40 years or something and eat grass. I left the church that day and never went back.
My sister-in-law's son and daughter-in-law drove all the way up from Salt Lake to tell her the bishop said to vote for "right to work" in Idaho. My sister-in-law who was on a first name basis with the owner of one of the two largest processing conglomerates in the country said for them to go tell the bishop she was union all the way and he knew where he could stick his right to starve law! ut that devastating law passed anyway and Idaho factory workers lost their benefits their full time employment then their jobs went to Canada and other places.
This is not some video-these are real people who try to influence others through their religion. And it's become a poisonous game. It has to end.

I don't doubt anything you say...

But I am starting to get REAL SICK on the accusations that this a "rightwing" thing...

It's across the whole damn board...

They do the same damn thing at Baptist revivals and black empowerment churches on a daily basis...But the only thing you hear from the left is the same ol "The religious right white evangelicals are the only guilty party" bullsh*t...

There is a difference between only guilty and predominately guilty. The religious right white evangelicals are the predominate guilty party, but not the only guilty party.
