Who is the only person to box with Ali and later win an NFL Superbowl ring?
Hint, he was a football player before the fight and he went all 8 of the scheduled rounds without getting knocked down.
Ken Norton?
...or...
Ed "too tall" Jones?

I googled it also but before I did I probably would have taken an uneducated guess at someone like Hollywood Henderson.

He would be a good guess in this senario.

Lyle Alzado. I remember watching the fight as a kid.

Winner, winner, winner.

Back then my family didn't have a TV but I remember reading about the fight in the newspaper. I finally watched it a few years ago on youtube. My memory had somewhat failed me as I didn't recall that it was an unjudged exhibition match. Kind of crazy that a football player would step into the boxing ring with one of the greatest boxers ever. Although, Alzedo was always a tough guy. Stepping into the ring with Ali like that proved he wasn't afraid of any man. Did Ali hold back? I don't know if he did or not, maybe he did, but he sure hit Alzedo with some serious punches and Alzedo took the hits then gave some back. It's a cool fight to watch if you want to waste ~30 minutes watching some old boxing footage of Ali and an amateur. Alzedo did box as a kid but he neve3r went pro with his boxing, just his football. Good possibility that Alzedo was on steroids at the time as many football players were using them back then and he did admit to steroid use.
