My own thoughts on what to do, as a consequence of these threatening "buzzings":

We should immediately issue a warning that the next time that this happens, the Russian jet in question will be shot out of the sky.

And we should say it just like that--not in diplomat-speak.

Moreover, we should really mean it.

thoroughly.

Of course, President Obama will surely not do anything approaching this...

They know Obama won't do anything that's why they are being so obnoxious. The next president has to be able to handle Putin with an Iron fist not kid gloves.
