Default The Pope visit.

Taking care of the poor and the planet. What a nightmare for corporations and therefore American conservatives. It seems to me climate change is pretty much universally accepted. American conservatives seem to be the only ones that understand the "truth." You know, AlGore and other environmentalist (like the Pope) hate Merica so bad they are paying off almost all the scientist in the field to pretend there is global warming...and, of course, we should subsidize oil companies cause they don't make enough or something.

The pope at White House: Climate change action can't wait

Jumping into the issues of the day, Pope Francis opened his visit to the United States with a strong call Wednesday for action to combat climate change, calling it a problem that "can no longer be left to a future generation." President Barack Obama, in turn, hailed the pontiff as a moral force who is "shaking us out of our complacency" with reminders to care for the poor and the planet.

Strange that the Pope would visit a man who constantly trashes Christianity and belonged to a hate church for decades that spewed the most vile sh*t I ever heard.

Well, the Pope did just meet with Castro so I guess that was preparation for Obama. After all, their political ideologies aren't that far off.

It's incredible the pope is falling for that con game of controlling the climate.

Or it could be that American conservatives have become so radicalized even the Pope is a flaming liberal compared to them.

The pope is human, and most humans can be bought for the right price. You are thinking what I'm thinking regarding money being involved.

What amazes me is how quickly the Rwers can spin their beliefs.

The Pope, Capitalism and Obama - The Rush Limbaugh Show

It was one of the greatest untold, unreported stories, and it's the result of a much more, I don't know if massive, but successful distribution of capitalism. That is bringing about this reduction in poverty. And the point that Will gets to in this piece is that if Pope Francis were to succeed with his buddy Obama in implementing all of these things, all these people that have escaped poverty would find themselves back in it. That's his contention.

Oh crap! I do believe a left winger has spoken and has chided the right wing for forming an opinion. Oh woe! Fie on them!

But it's okay, Surly. I'm not the type to tell you to blow it out your ass.

Instead I say, may you live forever.

Do you think Obama and the Pope are now buddies?
