Mass. principal in pregnancy pact has new job
... he's been hired by Planned Parenthood.
Just kidding....
Here's the real story:
Quote:
GLOUCESTER, Mass. (AP) -- The former principal of a Massachusetts high school who told Time magazine there was a pact among some students to get pregnant now has a new job.
Joseph Sullivan resigned last week from Gloucester High School following a furor over his comments about a surge in pregnancies among students. He said the mayor had slandered him by questioning his integrity.
On Thursday, the Gloucester Daily Times reported that Sullivan has been hired as principal of St. Joseph's School, a Catholic school in Wakefield for children in kindergarten through eighth-grade.
Mayor Carolyn Kirk disputed the existence of a pact, and didn't invite Sullivan to a news conference on the issue, saying city officials couldn't verify his comments.
