Okay it I'm new to the gig but it is seems to me like people ascribe to the trickle down theory in ISD's. Cities bring in these very highly paid people mid to high six ranges to fix the "system". It will trickle down right? Apparently here it doesn't. My State a very red state ranks so low on scales it is amazing yet we have these 60 million dollar football stadiums. And then the public complains we are spending to much on schools? So my question is what are your priorities? And what do you want kids to get out of education?

I hear ya!
They have been pushing for a public funded soccer stadium here
while the School District cries for more money.

Both have been voted down!

Hey, but School Administration has their big fancy building with the marble floors, etc.

IMO, generally speaking I don't think School Administration OR the Teacher's Union give a fig about the kid's, it is just abour the $$$. At least here it is anyway, not all places in this country are like that and many have their costs under control.

Sweetie it isn't the "R" party that wants the stadium, it is the "D" party.

Are unions even needed anymore? Name one thing they do that the law or free market can't.

I don't think Public Sector Unions are needed.

Nope, I don't want either one and honestly I don't think most people here want either.
Geesh we finally just made it under 10% unemployment within the last year and already those wretches want to ramp up the spending.
