It is good news because America has shared airbases in Turkey; we need the Turks to close their border to those misguided foreigners who join ISIS, using Turkey as their entry point into Syria and Iraq, and it is a moderate Muslim country, a NATO member, strategically located at the front to assist, and despite some tensions, also maintains good relations with Israel over there. Their intelligence network through INTERPOL, also can identify the foreign influx from other countries to join ISIS. Besides, once aroused, the Turks are one of the most feared and fierce fighter nations in combat. Their entry into the ISIS fight would be most welcomed and send a message to other Islamic countries, particularly Libya and Algeria, not to move on, or attempt to supply ISIS, essentially Turkey is a big roadblock to ISIS's success. That they will take the risk of fighting ISIS as an Islamic nation is very good news.......STFN

Them joining is every bit as important as the other Arab states attacking along with us. Turkey has always been an important ally and staging area for us in that area. I think they realize the threat these monsters pose to every country in the area. This is the only way these thugs can be defeated.
