Just another in a long line of true failures. And people just keep making them rich. Bet he hasn't been back to where he grew up! Time this clown goes to jail for some time.
Rapper DMX arrested at Phoenix mall Sun Jul 20, 12:34 AM ET PHOENIX (AP) — Rapper DMX was arrested at a Phoenix mall Saturday on suspicion that he gave a gave a false name and Social Security number to a hospital to get out of paying for medical expenses. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said that when DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, went to Scottsdale's Mayo Clinic in April, he used the name "Troy Jones" and failed to pay a $7,500 bill. DMX's Scottsdale attorney, Cameron Morgan, declined to comment. Arpaio said his office began investigating the charge following an animal neglect investigation last year at the 37-year-old rapper's north Phoenix home. DMX was arrested in that case on felony drug possession and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges after authorities seized 12 pit bull dogs and dug up the remains of three others. The musician/actor has had other recent run-ins with the law, including an arrest at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport earlier this month on outstanding warrants after he failed to appear in court. The week before, he was arrested in Miami on charges of attempting to purchase cocaine and marijuana. "He's back in jail again," Arpaio said. "I don't know why judges keep letting this guy out. Every time he goes in there, he gets out on bond. Complete story @ Rapper DMX arrested at Phoenix mall - Yahoo! News |

Do you think maybe he was trying to dodge the publicity rather than the bill? Just a thought.
Drug addiction and criminal activity have been associated with very talented people for some reason. One theory I have is that terribly talented people often have raised dopamine levels in their brain. Too much dopamine also is found in some mental illnesses. Either way it's a sad thing.

Good thinking but flawed. I think it is the ability to have it all and as a star they get so much free stuff and special treatment, they become the clowns they are deep inside. And th efact they have no Honor to start with is very important. I know money doesn't change me! And I have several times come into money. In Nam I turned down $10,000.00 to get what I wanted the 5 man Teams of E-Troop 17 Cav. of the 173rd ABN., BDE. (SEP) Long Range Recon Platoon. I got instead $360.00 for re-enlisting. Money makes people weak if they have no Honor to start with. Ever check to see how the millionaire lottery winner are doing 5 years later. 70% are broke and owe the govt. Check it out. LikeI have said before no Honor no real life of value. |

Not everyone is like that for sure. I've had my share I guess, but now times are different. We didn't flaunt it because that was considered crass. But since the eighties, crass is in.
