When was he Court martialed, and found guilty of desertion? It seems rather odd that he is being referred to as Sargent after being Court martialed and found guilty.

Because I reject the concept of "guilty until proven innocent".

But the fact is that you have had many Republicans and conservatives over the years repeatedly calling for this guy's release from the Taliban, with some open to the idea of a POW exchange, and of course criticizing Obama for not doing enough. Now, when Obama did do enough to bring Bergdahl home, it's of course not good enough, and we've had some politicians even try to erase their previous support from Twitter and other social media.

What a crock. If you recall what McCain really said: "... I might favor it depending on the details of the exchange".

The details didn't include trading one American POW* for five Taliban POW's**.





* - Not a POW, but a deserter known to be consorting with the enemy.

** - Not POW's, but five of the worst radical Islamic terrorists wanted for war crimes against humanity, sworn to return to the fight.

If it was such a great deal why didn't Obama as required by law? A law he signed? Instead of obeying the law, Obama just decides he will do as he wishes. Now that it has blown up in his face the Obama faithful resort to the usual tactic attacking critics.
