So what...everyone knows (including black people) that Jesse loves the limelight, and so can we be certain that his support of Obama, isn't necessarily for Obama's promotion, but for his own? I'm not so sure.
Jesse is integral part of the black movement toward equality and opportunity, but, some question his relevancy, now.
Bush said awful things about John McCain during his 2000 presidential bid...now they're buds( albeit, strange bedfellows)....do you think that Jesse's untimely remarks about Obama, matter in the long run? So what Jesse endorses Obama...what is the big deal?
I am not trying to convince anyone to vote for Obama...all I see is folks trying to convince the board, why no one should vote for him....propaganda, if you ask me...don't like him. don't vote for him....but can folks get a life and stop trying to convince themselves and others the justification for such? It must be a difficult pill to swallow....folks have to tell themselves (and everybody else) over, and over, and over and over, and over again, how bad and unprepared Obama is for the office...I guess in hopes that they actually come to believe it...because if they did, they wouldn't have to repeat it so often. Kinda psychotic...perhaps the opposite "is true"...that Obama is highly qualified, and more than up to the task...I think it's "fear of a black hat"....you know, so many white men, fear "black men" on the Mandingo tip...it just upsets their apple carts....when "black men", for the most part, don't even go there. It's not upper most in our minds....therapy might prove helpful to some...Obama is just running for president...not head of household, or anyone's wife's "boo". Geez.

aaronssongs, so you agre with me. But a new day ha sdawned and both of these clowns will make new news. So lets keep pace..... I know you have high regards for Obama. But I don't for either. And again ask is this the best each party could offer us?

politics is a game. That cost the taxpayers. Which by the way I do like Obama's tax the higher earners plan. But neither reveal how they will do more with less and still save us in the long run. Lucky us we have 4+ more months and the media might get off their collective ashs and ask real questions of both.

Mlurp,
You must know that I have deep respect for you. And I appreciate the fact that we can disagree ( in this case, me, being pro-Obama), and still be civil in our discourse...a lesson many here should adopt. That being said, I feel in the coming months, after the DNC and RNC conventions, the televised debates, will clarify, who is the more capable of the two main candidates...and I welcome it. I agree that the tough questions should be asked...enough of the name calling and the innuendos....what will each one do? what does each one believe? So far, nothing more than a pissing contest.

Yeah, I started to put it in my sig. Very nice. I'd actually heard it before, but the timeliness took it over the top.

I can agree with that, once the conventions are over some facts we need must come out.
You know from day one I have said we need to hear more from each clown running. I still stand on that point. For any who have made up their minds based upon what we don't know, well a 22 cal. bullet would be cheap! lol
