The reason FOX hires Kucinich is for the same reason they hire Beckell and Colmes. They are represented by FOX as "The Left" when they are fringe characters. Why don't they hire the likes of a Gephart?

The only consolation is they hire people like Dick Morris and Karl Rove as analysts

Kuchinich is very left leaning, as opposed to moderately left leaning, like the President.

Let me know how he does. I don't watch Fox.

I've liked his voting record. He is much more anti-war than other liberals or democrats.

In the classic sense, I consider myself to be quite liberal. There aren't relatively many things I'd force someone to do. That's the essences if classical liberalism.

I admit, that there are very many things I'd encourage people to do, or warn them strongly not to do. But again, by resorting to persuasion by preference, I am promoting, actually relying upon freedom.

All Leftists are fringe characters to the rational, informed mind. Didn't you know?

I wish they would hire Gephart, by the way, to further illustrate my point.

Force is a two way street. You can force someone to do something or you can prevent someone from doing something.

I am under the impression that the parties are just opposite sides of the same force coin.

The Parties are concerned with government, even the word refers to force. In the end, almost everything they do is underscored, underwritten and understood as an act of force. For that reason, I tend to be very distrustful of "friendly" government. My friends won't send armed representatives to compel my compliance if we have a disagreement. (They'd come, possibly armed in person.)

Many of the things we discuss here are more properly (to the conservative and libertarian mind, at least,) societal rather than political issues.
