Default From one Al to another

I see that Al Gore has sold his Current TV network to Al-Jazeera, for approximately $500,000,000.

Rather instructively, I think, he declined to sell the network to Glenn Beck, simply because Beck does not share his core philosophy.

But Al-Jazeera, apparently, does...

I really don't think that was the problem.

Al Gore released a statement indicating that he and his Current TV compatriots preferred to sell the network to "a very special buyer, one who share[s] their values," since "the legacy of who the network goes to is important to us and we are sensitive to networks not aligned with our point of view."

I guess that means that Al-Jazeera is much more closely aligned with Al Gore's point of view than Glenn Beck is, huh?
