Haysoos Marimba! You mean pre-history, eh? Has realization not slipped in yet that Christianity especially, and Judaism also, have evolved from the Homo neanderthalensis stage into the Homo sapiens stage?

Afraid not, it's well within recorded history, not so ancient as some would spin it.

I think you get my drift.
That's because they know that they will end up in jail if they do it in a "civilized" country, but will end up a hero in those where this kind of thing gets a free pass. Knowing that you can be an a****** and get away with it gives you a lot of freedom in what you will do (it's the "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" syndrome ). When faced with the option of attacking someone and ending up in jail, they choose not to end up in jail. When given the opportunity to attack someone and get paraded around like you were some kind of hero, people will choose to be the "hero".

Or maybe it's because they are civilized citizens of civilized countries who also happen to be Muslim.

You are giving examples of terrorist cells in these different countries.

None of those are examples of Muslims violently reacting to perceived insults to their prophet - which was the point being made.

It's like trying to use abortion clinic bombers as examples of Christians violently protesting a cartoon depicting God as a pedophile molesting Mary.

Does that make the victims of 9-11 any less dead?

So, because many Christians were violent savages hundreds of years ago, what is your point, that attacking the United States is okay?

What a cop out statement that seems to excuse any violence, against anybody, ever. Pathetic

Sad for the people that lost their lives and their families.

It seems the religious intolerance of very few is very destructive to humans.

Sadness for the deaths?

No.

We have a godamn misbegotten pig-ignorant bigoted religion bashing thread, again. And NOTHING - nothing about the deaths (accept from Salty). I suppose they are just political fodder to fuel the hate.
Try again.

The deaths are the result of the nature of Islam. When Sinead O'Connor cut up pictures of the Pope on live TV, Irish Catholics did not riot. When Democrats boo the notion of including a reference to God in their childish platform, no bombs go off.

Again, Islam is what it is, not what you wish it was.
