Well that seems to be the obama plan. The coulda been worse president. 17% real unemployment, coulda been worse. Food stamps at record levels, coulda been worse. 16 trillion in debt, coulda been worse.

I'm not so sure it could have been worse under any president than this one. He is all about worse. He can't make this worse, this is his best effort.

Bill Clinton disagrees with you. Besides this is no time for Romney's plans.

First you claim we are basically on the same tax and spend on the military plan as Reagan. But when confronted with the truth the response is a long hysterical rant against Reagan.

Get those losers on The Hill to STOP spending our money instead of bitching because they aren't spending it fast enough.

Well it seems Clinton got at least that part right...

He said the message from the right was " We left him a huge mess, he didn't clean it up fast enough , so fire him and hire us back"...

sounds almost like " Obama sucks, let's give someone else a shot"...

A reminder to those who forgot...
There was a jobs bill that passed...the administration called it the stimulus and according to them it worked. Which would indicate that this is what they want. This is not bad in their view. Create needy people and then promise to fulfill the need they created = votes in november.

Classic apologist rhetoric. Obama was marketed as some mystical transformative figure with no need of experience to fundamentally transform America if not the world. Now that it is obvious Obama's style of governance is that of a petty tyrant and his policies have fostered a failed recovery, it is time to lower the bar when evaluating his record. Fogging the glass is a poor argument for a second term.

So if that is th key why isn't it working?
Not even close to what we're doing now. We're over-regulated and we're cutting the legs out from from under private enterprise with threats of tax increases forcing them to hold tight to re-investment capital. It's not an environment that supports growth, but one that stifles it. But admitting that would cause you you have to stop and look at all the facts and not just stop with the ones that support your hatred of the greatest President of the 20th and 21st centuries and arguably the best one this country has ever had. But don't let facts get in the way of your hate, you just go right on hating based on the fantasy you want to beleive and those of us who live in the real world will go on fixing the crap you and the rest of the liberals keep breaking.

More dumbassery... When will you admit that BOTH PARTIES made this mess, but it was Pres. Obama who promised to clean it up and FAILED TO DO SO?? It was the fact that Congress has been moving more and more left (ACROSS THE BOARD) that got us into this mess and we need to get it moving back to the right. We need a gov't that thinks that the PEOPLE of this nation are it's greatest strength, not the gov't. We need a leader who has experience as a leader and has proven his abilities with success. We need to STOP SPENDING MONEY WE DON'T HAVE and start cutting out every single dime of waste that comes down the pike. We need to stop the flow of electorate bribe money flowing out of Congress and enlist austerity measures that will actually work to cut expenditures. We need to open the doors to private enterprise, instead of continually threatening them, belittling them and strangling their potential. We need to start looking FORWARD and NOT BACKWARD and figure out that the lessons of our past need to be learned from and then applied, instead of just drug out over and over again in campaign speeches. Find what has worked in the past (putting private enterprise in the lead role in our economy) and get it moving. Find what hasn't worked and gut it like a fish.
