After reading of all the coddling the military brass is giving to the Muslim Terrorist Nidel Hassan down in Fort Hood, Texas I am beginning to think that the Military BRASS (Brass only) is becoming sissified under Barack Obama.

Their political correctness lead to more than a dozen people losing their lives and that disgusts me to the core.

And now this thing with his beard, it's stupid IMO.
Eithere let him have his beard or hold his butt down and shave it off, but get this flipping trial going, it's been what 2-3 years now. The victims and their families deserve some justice.
How about you stay on topic or go start a thread?

Unfortunately, the Commander in Chief, having foolishly and repeatedly taken credit for the raid, has removed that option from the table, if Truth is to be held as a higher virtue than political deception.

These men, it would seem to me, have a moral obligation to confront Mr. Obama's use of the military as a prop.

If Obama isn't responsible for the raid, does that mean bin Laden isn't responsible for 9/11?

Yeah I hope Jessie Ventura comes off permanent vacation and weighs in on this. I'd like to see him tear these guys a new one.

These men are in an elite force that once had honor and dignity and did not drag their emblem through the mud and muck of politics for a few coin and to sell some books.

These men have a moral obligation (see above) to keep their mouths shut.

The comparison it very, very tenuous. Let me list a few of the most blatantly obvious ways.
  1. Bin Laden actually was involved in the detailed planning of the 9/11 massacre
  2. Obama inherited a set of plans which had been under development for years by experts
  3. Bin Laden, foul a human example as he was, faced bullets, deprivation and squalor to advance his cause
  4. Obama gave the "go ahead," eventually, and, we're told, with much prompting as though that were an act requiring great fortitude and wisdom while living in a mansion, surrounded by armed security and servants
  5. Bin laden made a case to motivate people to savagely kill and die horrible deaths for his cause
  6. Obama simply had but to order people serving the causes of Liberty and Justice, and who had convinced themselves to risk their lives in those causes to attack Bin Laden and then he used his participation to motivate shallow people to vote for an incompetent
  7. Bin Laden showed proof of his deeds to all the world with pride and reveled in the humiliation of the innocent
  8. Obama cloaked his operation in secrecy, refusing to release evidence, much less proof and a objective account, and did so supposedly in large part to honor the funerary conventions of a mass murderer while at the same time telling us that Bin Laden did not represent the source of those rites

Thought and Memory, as Huginn and Muninn of old, still bring wisdom.

You've got to be outta yer ever lovin mind to think the President did not have anything to do with ordering and actually finding bin Laden. He gave full credit to the people who planned and implemented the kill shot.
They could not have done it without orders and their bosses could not have ordered it without the President giving the order.
For one thing no one was even looking in Pakistan until Obama was POTUS. Truman didn't fly the plane but he damned sure bombed Hiroshima.

When someone can show me Dempsey saying the same thing when Obama took credit for killing OBL, then I'll take his words as credible...

If he was silent while Obama was "spiking the ball", then he's nothing more than a puppet...
