Perry currently supports a bill giving police officers more latitude in prosecuting illegal aliens. There is a lot of liberal way-back machine stuff being advanced. If Palin would throw her support behind him, his campaign would be on steroids.

I have no idea what that sentence means. Do you have a link? Police can't prosecute. Only investigate, interrogate, detain, and arrest. Prosecution is the DA's job.
