Kindly acquaint yourself with the actual text of SB1070 to avoid further embarassment for yourself. This will make you better informed than the Secretary of DHS and the US AG. There is nothing in the law that allows racial profiling or stopping people to demand ID without cause.

Does this attempted law include those who look a little too Irish?

It does if they get stopped for say a traffic violation. As specified by the law presentation of a drivers license issued by a state that denies them to illegal aliens satisfies the requirement so the question doesn't get asked. But suppose the driver presents an Irish license, the officer can ask to see proof of legal residence and arrest the driver if they fail to produce same. Oh how horrible! But wait, Federal law requires legal visitors and resident aliens to have this proof in their possession. So the Irish person could be detained or locked up until they produced proof they were here legally or until they were turned over to ICE.
