On its television broadcast, FNC has further described this organization as one that believes in the doctrine of "racial supremacy." (This horrid doctrine has many manifestations, from the awful description of blacks as "mud people" to the equally odious description of Jews as "pigs" or "apes.")

It is just another example of the fact that the shooter (if, indeed, Loughner is the guilty party) is mentally unhinged--and not a card-carrying member of the Tea Party or the political right in general.

This turd Jared could've been arrested with an "I hate Palin and love Socialism" t-shirt carrying a "No war for oil" poster and a photocopied picture of his Democrat registation stapled to his head and they'll STILL say "Must be from the Tea Party"...

Any student of history knows the rhetoric of recent years is tame compared to the rhetoric and political excoriations of the past. Nut jobs are nut jobs, always have been and always will be. Humans have always been spouting rhetoric and always will be. That said, I'm seeing a lot of nut jobs in the press and on TV trying to tie this sad incident to one party or group after another. Stupid?
