I find it odd that she lets her six year old make decisions on what to eat, and has to enlist the help of somebody else to parent for her.
If she is capable of being a parent, maybe social services should remove her children from her and place them in a home where they can be better taken care of.

Social services may be a little over the top, but you're right, she needs to be in charge, not her 6 year old. And asking the state to act so her child won't whine is ridiculous.

I'm leaning more towards a judge slapping the complaining party with court fees and McDonald's lawyer fees for wasting their time.

Or perhaps the McDonald's lawyer can quiz this woman on her usual meal for her kids. Perhaps that would be entertaining...

That's the real crux of it right there...the decision to have a happy meal or not rests with her, not her child.

I hope they throw this out and then countersue the woman for the all the attorney's fees.

Back in the stone age when I was I child, we'd pester M&P for a box of Cracker Jacks to get the toy inside. They'd exploit us by requiring chores to earn enough $ to buy a box. Oh the cruelty of requiring work to pay for something we wanted to buy. They didn't even offer a court case to settle the issue. And, if we appealed the case too much we were penalized physically. Oh, the horror!
