Beck's upcoming "It's a Wonderful Life" stunt being promoted with lies | Media Matters for America

Media matters is a fact based org. but am very aware they have a way of skewing those facts to make things seem more outrageous than they really are. Most are aware that Beck is often factually challenged. That's not news. But for those of you have followed or are more aware of this story, I would be interested in hearing the factual side. Is there something really special about this small town that we can actually learn from and emulate?

The only facts they use are the ones that they can twist and quote out of context.

Glenn Beck is always talking about It's a Wonderful Life, more specifically he always talks about George Bailey.

Whatever point he is trying to make is going to come from that angle, so no need to go digging into any "facts". He just loves the movie and the point the movie tries to make.

Then your job would be to show me where they have gotten the facts wrong. Keep in mind I said they sometimes skew the meaning of those facts. I am fully aware of their progressive ideology. So whatcha got besides as an emoticon as your argument.

I'll give you the same challenge. I've been looking, trying to prove myself wrong. I can't find anywhere they have been factually inaccurate. Maybe you'll have better luck.

I don't know that's completely true, though they are biased to the left. But the point of the OP was to say, Beck is factually inaccurate, MM is skewed in their interpretation. So what's really going on in this town and is it important for us to learn from them. Or is it nothing more than a publicity stunt.

That was a great joke, Media Matters is a "fact based" organization! You forgot George Soros funded attack machine paid to take anything anyone in "right wing" media says and distort it, misrepresent it and try to paint as racist, homophobic, Islamaphobic or insert salacious DOA allegation here.

Thank the lord our 50 year old teacher with 14 years experience but who has been retired from teaching for the same amount of time is so ready to kevtch about Beck's upcoming "It's A Wonderful Life" Christmas Special! Come back here the day after, to see what MM says Beck said, and dear "Teacher" will regurgitate it for us, sprinkled liberally with some really dumb arsed platitudes too boot.

Everyone is ignoring the actual questions being posed and jumping on Media Matters...kind of like flashing a shiney object in front of a child...they're easily distracted by the non-issue
