US walks out on Ahmadinejad's UN speech

The Americans stood and walked out without listening to the third theory, that the attack was the work of "a terrorist group but the American government supported and took advantage of the situation."

(Ahmadinejad has called for the destruction of Israel and is deeply at odds with the United States and European allies over its nuclear program and suspicions that it is designed to produce an atomic bomb. Iran says it is only working on technology for electricity generation.)

Heard something on TV about this. It was said the US did not quietly slip out of the room either. They got up and as one body marched out crossing in front of the podium (said the reporter). After that several other nations' delegates also walked out.

Walking out looks like a sulk, unfortunately. This is why I favor giving our UN diplomats hand held Play Stations to use during such events.

Why did they wait to walk out? They should have left immediately after this nutbag took to the floor.

If they knew he was coming why bother even going to the event?
