Yes a very important factor. They support NK and might have things in mind if push comes to shove. China says it wants a place in the world yet still support some very bad people with real bad weapons among other stuff.

The US will need to show that North Korea faces some kind of consequence and not just talk about it.One would think that China is much more concerned than they are willing to admit!!! The NK continues to play a game of bluff and extortion. At some point..someone will call their hand.[/QUOTE]

I agree China needs to set the tone and set it lower, it is they who are testing Obama, and the US, IMO

One has to remember China does attack our infrastructure both civilian and military on a daily basis. They might share with Russia both of the two countries data on us. The Communist ideals are not dead and buried.

Not sure I agree with this 100%.

Not knowing which you don't agree with I can't put forth any opinion. I based what I said on what I have learned, but it still amounts to my opinion as I have no links saved.

But we can always disagree and share info. So we (not just you and I) can develope better understanding.

I'm not so sure that China will share with Russia. I don't they have as good a relationship as one might think of socialist countries. Maybe I'm wrong.

I'm thinking that on some levels including a certain amount on security they (might) share some info... Just because they of that relationship and any ill will between them.

They have worked to upgrade Iran and other countries to keep tension in the middle east. Can't say they have done this together. Yet China has it's own agenda's. It is like they are playing as many positions at the card table as possible.

But they do have meetings and diplomat exchanges. I see Russia still wanting to get even for their loss in Afghanistan which they blame America for.
Most of their losses and the fall came from our involvement in weapons supplied.

But again American, this is just my opinion...
