Do-Be-Do-Di
Familiar rushes of frustration come over me like an old song “a friend-Do-Be-Do-Di-was but not now jus cauz“. Falling out of harmony her lyrics rise up to meet mine as they roll on while we type. Hearing this tune as it plays moving along some of it wrong.
Chapters of books written paragraphs lengthened, sentences are structured while lines get viewed later as verses. Pages are turned by time, becoming 'nesses. As memories worsen growing yellow with vagueness eventually fading into nothingness.
It don’t matter who you are, forgetting leaves a scar ”Do-Be-Do-Di-why are we left tear eyed”. I thought lightening crashes then wondered hey. Pitching passion, leaning in to swing never missing as a friend all through to the end, but this time man I almost left here empty again. Singing "Hey To-Do-Be-Do-Di-&-I".
