Introducing more than 40 million new people into the healthcare system and providing care for the entire nation and not one lefty can see this is undoable without rationing and huge tax increases..... GIVE ME FRIGGIN BREAK!

40% of current health care costs go to administrative services. The government doesn't need all those middle men to administer the system. So right off the top, that is a 40% reduction in cost.
And even if 40 million people signed up for coverage, you really think they're going to go to their respective doctors at the same time in one big block?
Of coarse it's doable! We can take $500 billion out of the defense budget to fund the damn thing. If you're so concerned about cost, why aren't you bitchin' about the $12 billion a month we are spending on someone else's country. The way I see it, if you care about this country, you buy American.
These objections are just guesses of what might happen. The government has done okay with Medicare all these years considering, and this bill is not much different than that. And that's not a guess.
