The case was SETTLED OUT OF COURT...

That means NO ONE was found GUILTY...

Quote:
The out-of-court settlement came on the eve of a courtroom fight over audiotapes, reports CBS News Correspondent Kelly Cobiella.

O'Reilly lawyer Ronald Green had said he believed there were tapes of conversations between the two and asked a court to compel Mackris to produce them so they could be played publicly.

"I know that he does not fear what is on the tapes," Green said at the time.

O'Reilly told his viewers Thursday night, "This matter has caused enormous pain, but I had to protect my family, and I did. All I can say to you is please do not believe everything you hear and read."

Shortly before "Factor" aired, O'Reilly's lawyer Green, issued a statement saying the cases and claims had been withdrawn and all parties agreed there was no wrongdoing by O'Reilly, Mackris or Mackris' lawyer Benedict Morelli.
So the correct answer to the question "Where was O'Reilly found GUILTY of sexual inappropriate behavior?", your answer is "Nowhere except my partisan mind."...

OK he was sexually harrasing a woman and paid her money because he was innocent. Not Guilty by law. Obviously guilty by submission.

Honestly?
The "views" are just a part of the problem.
It's his childish presentation which is another huge problem. And I think one of the things exemplified in that clip.
I saw a segment he did recently where he was squatting on his chair eating pudding, giggling uncontrollably over some video clip he was showing...

The sad part was that I found the issue of the clip intriguing and worthy of discussion, but his treatment of the issue was just deranged.

But hey. If you want to discuss something, let's talk about his b.s. where he calls the president a racist.
And then less than a minute later, Beck argues that was not what he was saying...

What do you think of that?

Yep, Glen is a drama queen. But he's my drama queen. I don't think he is more out of line that Oberman. I have watched Keith enough to know what lititure he pushes but I like the books that Glen pulls out.

I did listen to Glens show the other day when he was talking about the efforts against him and his show. He mentioned the organized efforts to boycott his sponsors, then the attack based on his alcoholism and religion, and how now they are making detailed personal threats on him and his family. So I think that it could be Glen that gets hurt.

Yeah. I can't stand Olbermann either...

I catch Glenn Beck's TV show only occasionally; so I did not see either.

Can you provide me the exact quotes (not some paraphrase) of the words in question? Better yet, a video of them.

(For the record, I believe the that First Lady is assuredly a racist--except, perhaps, by the left's preferred definition of the word, which will not allow for anyone who is not in a position to "oppress" others to be guilty of racism--but it less clear to me whether or not President Obama is racist also. His former pastor, Jeremiah Wright, surely was--and, presumably, still is--but whether the benighted views of The Reverend closely reflect the views of Barack Obama, or the latter merely used his church association to advance his Chicago political fortunes, is open to conjecture.)

I caught the original Saturday Night Live episode.
It was pretty good.

People keep talking about "O'Reilly's" ratings as opposed to "Olbermann's" ratings.
I think such a comparison is nonsense.
It's like trying to compare the sales of ice cubes in Arizona vs Alaska.

The right has more of an affinity for this nonsense...

One of the reasons I like Colbert.
There was a study on Colbert viewers a while back.
The "left" viewers were able to pick up on his satire in larger percentages than the "right" vewers were...

At about 0:40 he talks about Obama having a "...deep seated hatred for white people, or the white culture...".
At about 2:00, he talks about "I'm not saying that he doesn't like white people. I'm saying he has a problem. He has a ... This guy is, I believe, a racist."

Some conservatives talk about a "race card" that is too easily played. And for a lot of situations, I would agree.

But I think there is a flip side of that whereby accusations of "racist" are too easily played...

Actually, I'd be willing to bet that we use more ice in Alaska than they do in Arizona, (one of the 49 Lesser States.)

How could that be, you aks. I'm glad you asked. It's because we're a major fishing stateand fish is ofen packed in ice for transport.
