Anyone with two brain cells rubbed together should be mad as all hell at what the media's doing (and for Obama supporters, start questioning if your line of thinking is legitimate)...

This one's ASTOUNDING!...

Unreal: MSNBC edits clip of man with gun at Obama rally to support racism narrative

Never will you see a starker example of MSNBC getting away with the sort of deception for which Fox News would be pilloried, especially in the context of race. If you missed Monday’s post about this, go watch the footage (or look at this photo) and see if you can deduce why they wouldn’t want to show the guy with the rifle from the neck up during this particular segment. For all the well-deserved heat that MSNBC’s primetime line-up has taken for its demagoguery — Maddow has been notably egregious during the health-care blowup — this proves that they’re not above pulling this crap during their daytime “hard news” segments either.

When you’re done with the clip, scroll through the new photo gallery Zombie’s put together of the many, many, many “Kill Bush” signs at leftist protests over the past eight years. Thank goodness outlets like MSNBC and the Huffington Post took such “blunt, no-argument stances” against that sort of insanity at the time.

Quote:
MSNBC's Contessa Brewer: "A man at a pro-health care reform rally just outside wore a semiautomatic assault rifle on his shoulder and a pistol on his hip. The Associated Press about a dozen people in all at that event were visible carrying firearms.

The reason we're talking about this—a lot of talk here Dylan—because people feel like yes, there are Second Amendment rights, for sure, but also there are questions about whether this has racial overtones. You have a man of color in the Presidency and white people showing up with guns strapped to their waists."
And who is this guy with the assault rifle???...

Yup...A BLACK GUY...

MSNBC INTENTIONALLY hid the guy's race and didn't show his whole body so they can force the "racist" angle down the public's throat...

Here's what MSNBC hid from you...

YouTube - MSNBC: Gun-Toting Protesters are 'White' Racists... Black Guy with AR-15 Edited to Conceal his Race.

I already refuted this black guy's legitimacy as a real protester on another thread. He was a plant by a radio show host to talk about their agenda. Doesn't even have anything to do with the health care issue at all.

Since CNN has been noticeably turning against Obama MSNBC has decided not to be out Foxed...

Either way..shame on MSNBC.

And then the guy who performed the staged interview (who himself had a gun strapped) has ties to a militia group that had members prosecuted...

The "staged" goes in multiple directions.

But this was absolutely pathetic of MSNBC.

What the heck is this supposed to mean?
Back on the "death threats" thread some people were trying to insist that it was primarily brought upon by racism...
Is that the line of thinking you think needs to be questioned as to whether or not it is legitimate?

Please tell me one angry black man is supposed to prove some unnamed idea wrong...

why surprising? isn't NBC the network that staged the exploding GM trucks? Brian Ross was fired because of it I believe, so to have their sister station do something like this should come as no surprise to anyone.

Is this a bad thing??? I only ask because I know of a guy who has ties to a group that carried out terrorist attacks against US citizens and I'm wondering if we should all be looking down our noses at him as well.

I really wish I didn't have to spell out the obvious for you, but evidently I do...

Obama doesn't defend Ayers.
THIS guy CONTINUES to defend his association...

When you can figure out the significance of that, let me know...

Obama doesn't CONDEMN Ayers either...

But you're only trying to compare a President of the United States with some guy with a gun...

OF COURSE there's no difference!...

I guess if you repeat a claim long enough, some people believe it to be true?
Gibbs also responded to the specific charges about Obama and Ayers and brought up McCain's connections to Charles Keating.

"Bill Ayers has played no role in Barack Obama's campaign. Barack Obama has condemned the attacks that happened when Barack Obama was 8-years-old," he said. "Charles Keating is relevant in this campaign because the actions of a United States senator to pressure regulators … against stopping criminal activity at a savings and loan that cost tens of thousands of people their life savings is relevant in the very current news that we have in our struggling economy where we're watching banks collapse each and every day. Is that the kind of leadership, is that the kind of person we trust to get our economy going again?"

Of course there IS a difference...
The guy with the gun ACTIVELY DEFENDS the successfully prosecuted militia.
Obama does not defend Ayers. He has clearly condemned Ayers actions.

You're playing the same ol' game I've seen time and time again.
You ARE NOT DEFENDING the fact that this guy with the gun is not somebody that should be trusted. His judgment is obviously suspect.

But instead of admitting that, you go on the attack with a subject change...

Can you at least make a TOPICAL comment as to whether or not this gun-toting dude's defense of the PROSECUTED MILITIA group is something that should raise eye-brows?
Or would you trust this guy to carry a gun near a school?
