Default Media deliberately misleading consumers with false stories

I've seen a number of examples lately of the media intentionally misleading their consumers (viewers, readers, etc.) by either mis-quoting, partially quoting or flat out lying in an effort to push their narrative. And when I say Media, I mean ALL media, Fox News included.

I am starting this thread to allow others to post stories where they believe that the media has deliberately lied to it's target audience. Feel free to post any stories you feel fit this description. And PLEASE post what you believe to be the actual falsehood. Don't make everyone else search for it.

I'll start.

Here, the MSM/Left has deliberately left out a portion of Trumps statement to make it appear that he is telling State Governors that they are on their own in obtaining needed medical equipment. This is what Trump originally said:

Quote:
“Respirators, ventilators, all of the equipment — try getting it yourselves. We will be backing you, but try getting it yourselves. Point of sales, much better, much more direct if you can get it yourself.” Mr. Trump told the governors during the conference call.
Quote:
The issue was how one quote made it seem like Trump was telling state governors to fend for themselves to get respirators and ventilators for severe cases of COVID-19. Many of the reporters left out the second half of Trump's quote, where he stated, "We will be backing you, but try getting it yourselves. Point of sales, much better, much more direct if you can get it yourself."

...

Trump's point was that if state governors can get respirators and ventilators themselves more quickly than going through the federal government, then they should do so. However, the federal government will be assisting in providing medical equipment.

...

Times reporter Julie Bosman defended sharing the quote out of context "because the second part of the quote repeats the first part, twice."

Once again, I don't care where the information comes from if it is accurate. If it is not, then please provide information proving such. Would you expect the MSM to tell on themselves?

But if this is true, and I have no reason to believe otherwise, what does it have to say about the state of what is being called journalism in this country? Do you have a problem with the MSM deliberately withholding part of a story to push a narrative?

NBC reporter Peter Alexander delivers a bravura performance for a political hack posing as a journalist. Dripping with contempt for the President a slouching and dramatically gesticulating Alexander delivers a string of thinly disguised attacks on the President for among other things giving the American people "false hope" the Chinese virus crisis may treated with drugs currently being researched. Alexander goes on to stoke fear by reciting infection and death statistics before posing a gotcha question implying President Trump is responsible for the virus. Of course the media deliberately ignores Alexander whoring out his journalistic integrity to the Resistance and instead attacks the President for daring to push back against Alexander's partisan activism.

Watch the video at the link before defending Alexander as an innocent victim.
