Internet service is clearly interstate commerce thus the states cannot regulate it. Hopefully the voters in these states passing unconstitutional laws will replace officials creating frivolous laws instead of dealing with the state's problems.

As usual, a nothing response. Since there is precedent, I doubt very much the states will be able to get any traction here. Biggest precedent coming to mind is the ICC/FMCSA.

Interstate commerce. Internet crosses state lines. Transactions across the internet are subject by regulation primarily by the federal government. State laws can only be applied to intranet connections(within the state's borders). Any connection, or importation of any data to this intranet would make it part of the internet and thus subject only to federal regulation.
