Maybe CNN wasn't quite as blatant as Fox and MSNBC, but now that Obama's ahead, they're jumping on the bandwagon! ![]()

You're so far off in the deep end of the partisan waters that everything I described to you, you simply consider news and not pro-Obama propaganda. Campbell Brown is nothing more than a left wing Sean Hannity. She now has a track record. An entire panel of NOTHING but Obama supporters is something you don't even get from MSNBC or in the opposite way from Fox News (though admittedly, they often throw in overmatched panzies from the oppostition). CNN no longer bothers to sit someone down who has an opposing point of view. AND YOU HAVE THE BALLS TO CALL THAT JUST THE NEWS OF THE DAY???? Old white Democrats pissed off at other old white Democrats in Florida for being racists? You call that new news? McCain taking a microphone away from a senile old lady and correcting her? The only thing newsworthy about that is the media's disgusting attempt to use that against McCain. This just in, MCCAIN isn't the one who has the problem. Obama's the one with the identity problem... Dems are going to win the black vote. That's fucking news to you??? Dems always win the black vote. CNN paints it as some McCain failure. That's the difference between partisan hacks like you, Mike, and people whose perspective I appreciate. To you, partisan media is just fine. I can sit here and be critical of O'Reilly or whatever shit Fox News has as infotainment programming these days but you consider the shit show I just described as 'just the current news'. C'mon man. Grow a spine of your own for a change and admit media bias on both sides of the aisle when it's so blatant. Not doing so makes you into more of a joke than a serious voice.

The issue I usually have is not the bias-ness in what they're reporting (although that's a big part), but the bias-ness in the LACK of reporting...
The most obvious one in the last few years is Iraq...When bombing and blood were an everyday occurance the story was the lead...Now that the country is primarily at peace and the violence is at a minimum, you'll be lucky to see the word on that at the bottom their websites...if at all... You also see it (the fact that you DON'T see it) in the stories given... Remember Hillary's fiasco when she embellished her trip to Bosnia?...It was ALL OVER the headlines for days...Pundits and reporters went back to that story every hour on the hour to make sure the public knew... But did you know the EXACT SAME THING happened with Joe Biden?... He was going around telling people his chopper was forced down in Afghanistan...But he DOESN'T say what the reason was for the chopper getting "forced down" in the first place, leading people to believe there were dangerous terrorists after him... It was snowfall... ![]() How many times did you hear about THAT in the media?...Once?...MAYBE twice?... Reporting a story simply isn't reporting a story...it also includes the DEPTH of the story and the level of attention the story is given... And as we've seen through both the print and television media, negative stories about Obama are whitewashed, downplayed, and mentioned in passing, while negative stories on McCain are pushed, mentioned every cycle, and discussed through punditry to make the story as negative as possible...

Truth is, I don't think there is a lot to report except partisan stuff. News jockeys aren't in to giving statistics on the respective plans, cause they're afraid people would fall asleep or turn to the nearest reality show.
So if they want sensationalism, they have to follow the nasty.

I fully understand the press idea to sensationalize stories, but they are deciding WHICH stories to sensationalize... Instead of reporting stories and then seeing what sticks, they are TELLING you which story should stick based on THEIR beliefs... ![]()
