What do ya think the reaction would be if Fox News made the same joke 'bout Obama's plane crashing?

While CNN was gathered at the Carrier plant in Indiana yesterday, waiting for President-elect Donald Trump to arrive to give a speech regarding the deal that kept roughly a thousand jobs in the U.S., the crew decided to joke around about a pretty grizzly topic.

In video obtained by FTVLive, correspondent Suzanne Malveaux was prepping for her live broadcast from Indianapolis. She can be seen discussing what she needs to say on air, what items to touch on, doing sound checks, asking for water, etc.

However, at one point, as they were getting close to going live, a producer can be heard off screen talking about signals she would give if Trump’s plan had landed. It then went south rather quickly.

“That means his plane’s crashed…just kidding,” the voice can be heard saying, while Malveaux’s eyes bugged out. She then tried to smile it off.

Malveaux then begins her broadcast, addressing anchor Brooke Baldwin.

UPDATE 12:35 PM ET: CNN responded to this story by providing the following comment:

“An unfortunate and inappropriate remark was made by one of our producers off camera yesterday. We have apologized to the Trump transition team, and the producer has been disciplined.”

I think Reagan's comment was a joke. I don't hold any blame for him on it.
BOTH were jokes.

Republicans are such victims these days. BTW it wasn't CNN. It wasn't the crew. It was one person that made a silly quip. Try to straighten out your panties will ya? For crips sake

This is a small embarrassing event but reinforces the Clinton News Network's reputation and its' culture. The producer is just a person who may have let her biases show. On the other hand, the Donna Brazile debate question leaks should be fully exposed. Trusting CNN's "professional integrity" is too much to expect.

Yeah, I have no prob with tasteless jokes, as everyone on this site knows. My prob with this is, first, you gotta slice it both ways if you're gonna play. You'd never hear CNN make this joke 'bout Obama or Hillary. Second, I seriously doubt this jackass producer was joking. You could tell by that fugly correspondent's reaction that this was normal and accepted banter regarding Trump. If it weren't, she would have reacted very differently instead of giving a comical eye bulge and laugh.

Then again, Suzanne Malveaux was never the smartest person in the room. She's the one that was covering a gay pride march and mistook a parody banner with dildos and butt-plugs for a real ISIS flag.
