Default Active Role for Palin’s Husband in Alaska Government

This one's too funny to believe...even for the New York Times...

Active Role for Palin’s Husband in Alaska Government

Quote:
It is not necessarily clear whether Mr. Palin is helping shape his wife’s agenda or simply advocating for it, nor whether he ever put pressure on lawmakers, but his role has not been the customary one of a governor’s spouse in Alaska.

That has made many people in government uncomfortable and often confused over how to react.
Umm...Excuse me Alzheimer Times...

Did you forget that you ENDORSED Hillary Clinton?...You know...The spouse of a friggin' PRESIDENT that tried to get her own health care plan passed by Congress?!?!?!?

Astoundingly inept!!...

Hillary influenced and shaped every damn policy Bill ever had...Democratic supporters (and the NYT themselves through their endorsement) were happy to tell us she was ready to be president due to her experience of being the First Spouse...

But when a spouse of a Republican might also have influence, they become skeptics and caution us to worry...

Come now... people reacted this way to Hillary. Anyone remember Hillary and healthcare? There were many in the government who were not comfortable with Hillary being as involved as she was. Why should we expect it to be different for Palin?

There will ALWAYS be someone who has an issue with it...

The problem here is that the SAME news outlet that endorses someone who live by that very creed of influence is now questioning it when it's done by someone from a different party...

The issue is not whether or not a spouse is and/or can be influential, but consistancy by the news outlet itself...

You expect consistency? From anyone or anything? Good luck with that.

I'd give him an active role, but unfortunately we are both married. He is cuuuuuuuuuuute.
If Palin ever becomes POTUS, he might just be the best looking Presidential spouse there's ever been.
