Here is the actual tape about Palin and the "God's plan" crap the media throws at you...


Start around 3:30 when she starts talking about her son Track in the military...

Here is the FULL quote...

Notice she NEVER says that this IS God's plan...

She wants them to PRAY that this is God's plan...She wants them to PRAY that "our leaders" are sending them out on a task that is from God....

In other words, she is HOPING that what the troops are doing is correct in God's eyes...Not that she FIRMLY BELIEVES it is because she somehow knows it for a fact...

Now look at how the Associated Press distorts the quote...

Notice what's missing?

In other words, AP took out the part where Palin EXPLICITLY asks that we PRAY it's God's plan and turns it into a statement that she said it IS God's plan...

That is a bald-faced lie...

Now in her interview with ABC's Charles Gibson, she reinforced the notion that she doesnt KNOW what's happening is God's plan but PRAYS that it is...

About 15 seconds in so you don't have to skim through it...


As seen in the clip immediately afterward, what Gibson said is NOT THE WHOLE QUOTE!!!!...He left out the very beginning in which she is actually PRAYING for it...

If you think it's bad reiterating a lie, get ready to blow your top....

As the clip of Palin ends, Gibson is HEARD saying "Are we fighting a holy war?"...

And then Palin answers...

But guess what?...

THAT'S NOT HOW IT HAPPENED!...ABC EDITED THE INTERVIEW!!!!!

Here's the actual quotes taken from the first airing...

ABC scubbed the part where Palin says she doesn't know if it was her "exact quote" (And she was right...What Gibson gave her was a PARTIAL quote).

Instead, they showed the clip of Palin (obviously without Palin seeing it herself during the interview) followed by Gibson's DUBBED IN question "Are we fighting a holy war?"...

Then they returned to Palin and cut out the first two words of her response ("But the") keeping the last part of "the" to make it sound like she said "A"...

You can just tell something's wrong when they attempt to show Palin responding to the question ""Are we fighting a holy war?"" with "A reference there is a repeat of Abraham Lincoln's words..."

It doesn't makes sense for her to respond to that question in that way...

And it shouldn't...Because that's not how it happened...

You have to sift through the news to even come up with a semblance of the truth. I find her words in sinc with what my views are on the matter. I hope this mission has God's approval.
These are her personal thoughts and she's not a weirdo trying to make over the ountry into her church.

It's good to read that you are still a Christian and haven't converted yet.

But your recent posts have made me ask myself several times, "Just who the hell has saltwn become?"

All the time we've exchanged posts you have been reasonable and questioning. Then about a week or so ago you began showing a distinct lack of familiarity about subjects I knew you had knowledge of, and now you are projecting an arrogant ignorance.

Whether you know it or not your posts have begun to look no different than those of posters who openly hate ALL religion or who ONLY love Allah.

This post of yours is a welcome reminder to me that you still have hope. You haven't gone completely to the other side. But your other stances in other threads are identical to those of people who want America to fall and want Christians to be subservient and captives. Don't be surprised if you are accused of being a terrorist sympathizer someday if you keep that up.

What happened to me was I was off the internet for a few days and listening to radio and real people's remarks. The hate of the Democratic party is stiffling.
And when I found out Palin was hand picked by non other than Carl Rove, I saw McCain had lost the battle to remain his own man.
Then the mortgage crises and our socialist means of dealing with it and how-the-hell did it get this far any way? The employment figures and the real people getting laid off.
Then Harry Truman's words rang in my head

"How many times you gotta get hit over the head before you know who's doing it?"

Yes I still believe in God. But I'm not going to jump on that old fear factor train again and assume because Republican candidates have been business people they will know or care how to protect my interests. And I'm tired tired tired of the diatribes about Democrats not being the party Jesus would vote for.
But mostly I want us to get off this global war train we've ridden on since the lie about WMD.
It appears to me that only the people I think have a screw loose (in person I mean) are going to vote Republican anyway. People I respect and admire except for those who are blatantly predjudiced about race, or who are predjudiced about their own ignorance, are in favor of the Obama/Biden ticket.
So there's my explaination. And as for the forgetfulness, I do that sometimes. It is related to previous long term heart med therapy and a harmone imbalance and I need a blood test when I get home.

I've discovered that those who misunderstand the goals and nature of Islam and Jihad are the ones who mainly support Obama/Biden.

So I'll ask you:

Do you realize the Qu'ran commands Muslims to rest not until Allah is the sole worshiped God?

Do you recognize that this command is basically a theological mandate of never-ending expansion and dominance... by force if necessary?
