One's political point of view is no excuse to verbally abuse, physically assault, or in any way discriminate against a veteran.
Doing those things should most certainly be treated as domestic terrorism by the FBI. Americans who disagree with political decisions should take the matter up with their representatives, not the soldiers who are sworn to protect them.

We've already had some mainstream attention on this abusive crap.
Code Pink in Berkeley... Beyond that, this is inexcusable. These military personnel are simply doing a job, and I suspect that the people who are abusing our military personnel don't have any real concept of the significance of that job, and the respect it deserves in the first place. I would be verbally abusive towards any nitwit who attempted to denigrate a member of the military simply for doing their job. mlurp? Can you give more info about the show you watched? Possibly a name of the show? What channel it was on? Was it part of the news? I'm just curious and would like to do some more research on it. |

They said one vet with his wife waiting at a bus stop after food shopping, was jumped by 2 guys and when they found he had no money on him. They said, " you military guys don't deserve to live because your broke." Both were captured for his murder which his wife had to watch. They blew out his brains at a public bus stop. I can't recall much after that my mind wondered back to my time. I got disgusted, then took 2 more extra sleeping meds and layed in bed for sometime waiting for them to work. I thank each for your concern. It took a few days before I could even deal with it to post and do a few google searchs which brought up nothing..

It's a war veteran filming an anti-war protest in santa Barbara... Things are pretty light until about 4:40 in, then they get real "patriotic"... ![]()
