Another media member getting CAUGHT for saying what the other partisan media members are thinking...

Hot Mic Catches Buzzfeed Reporter McKay Coppins Ripping Romney

Quote:
The source of this is Jon Ward, a political reporter for the Huffington Post, and he deserves a lot of credit for telling the truth about what he overheard:

Quote:
The so-called "reporter" in question was apparently -- and to no one's surprise -- one of Ben Smith's head BenSmithers, McKay Coppins

Quote:
This is yet one more example of just how childish and unprofessional these partisans disguised as "objective" reporters are -- and it gives you a hint of what Romney's been up against throughout this entire campaign. Not just from the likes of BuzzFeed, and they're bad enough, but from a media atmosphere so stacked against Romney and in favor of Obama that anyone pretending to be an "objective" journalist can feel comfortable popping off like this.

It's also a look at how comfortable these elitist jerks are behaving this way amongst themselves when they think no one is listening. I have no issues with reporters joking around, but it's no coincidence that you never ever hear this kind of thing coming from the "objective" media about President Obama.

And without cable you dont get cspan.
And an educational medium?
We dont need one more goll darned bullet until we improve ALL television with educational programming not just the public stations. Public broadcasting is just that. Voice of the people and a way for some people to view that school board meeting or city counsel meeting when otherwise they could not.
I'm tired of giving up everything that is good and decent about this country in favor of war and boot strap pulling. Lord knows I had enough if that under Reagan.
OK, you don't know the history of the grossly misnamed "Fairness Doctrine" do you?

Quote:
. . .Bill Ruder, who
was the Assistant Secretary of Commerce in the Kennedy administration and a campaign
advisor to the Lyndon Johnson, admitted:
Our massive strategy was to use the Fairness Doctrine to challenge and harass
right-wing broadcasters and hope the challenges would be so costly to them that
they would be inhibited and decide it was too expensive to continue.
Jumping on dissenting viewpoints was not the exclusive inclination of the Democrats. It
is well documented that the Nixon administration used it to club what it viewed to be
unfair coverage or criticism of the administration and the Vietnam War. The common
denominator was that the initiative to stifle disagreeable voices originated with the
government in power.

The "Fairness Doctrine" was there to suppress speech. Obviously.

That's what she wants, at least with conservative speech.

Yes, you do. You want to ban conservative talk radio because liberals can't compete in the market of ideas.

Free markets should control what radio stations play, not government.

Do you not see this contradiction?...

And you're WAAAAY off topic...The FD is irrelevant to the discussion that (yet another) Lefty reporter gets caught attacking Republicans when they THINK no one is listening in...

Wait a minute!!! How can you call this journalist a "liberal"? He only mentioned it in passing, instead of making it a national headline as is expected from good comrades journalists.

I'm confused.
Are we sure the quote wasn't possibly generated by a Republican?
Or are we just indicting a Democrat for an off-the-cuff comment when Republicans themselves have made a lot worse comments...
