That's lame. Rice certainly hasn't failed at every job she has held (you're belching up KOS and Huffinton shit now).

Let's see, for a comparison:

Rice: Professor at Stanford, Provost at Stanford, member of the Board of Directors for Hewlett Packard, Special Assistant to the Joint Cheifs of Staff, Senior Director of Soviet and Eastern European Affairs for the National Security Council. All that before she became the NSA and the Secretary of State for the current Prez.

Kennedy: interned for ther uncle !

Oh wait, let me guess ... you think, or rather KOS and Huffy told you to think, that Rice caused 9/11.

I'm surprised that people like you and Obama haven't nuanced your way into deciding that Rice is the evil in the world that we must confront. Oh wait, really kind of have.

Look, I never totally never intended to slam Caroline Kennedy (ok, here's one ... when a woman gets married at least take your husband's name with a hyphen), I just asked why she should be someone qualified to choose an eventual POTUS. Still don't have any answers, just a bunch of duck and cover subject changing.

If you don't have any reasons why she is qualified to screen the next President, just keep quiet, m'kay?

Thanks for the tip sheet! Maybe I can remember to watch now that things are heating up a bit.

Hmmm...I think I have some blank VHS tapes laying around.

You pointed to Rice's titles but not her success'. She was National Security chief at the time of 9-11. And we know that she was not very interested in terror at the time. She has been at Secretary of State and the only time she actually made a decisive decisions resulted in a mismanaged mission by Israel in Lebanon. Tell me all of her success. Not what titles she has had.

When you say 'we' you merely confirm that you're not thinking for yourself. You're regurgitating liberal blog site stuff well after I pointed out that you're not an independent thinker. How do 'we' know what 'we' think 'we' know? By all accounts, she was briefed and interested in terror briefings daily.

I don't know about you, but I consider Clinton's administration much more culpable for 9/11 than Bush's. After all, that's when everything was planned and when all the terrorists were planted. I can figure that out based on common sense.

I don't have to rely on bloggers to tell me what to think.

Now ... again ... stop talking about Rice and get back to my original question.

Nevermind ... you can't because you have no idea what makes Caroline Kennedy qualified to do jack squat. That's why you're busy dodging...

Look you keep saying I am regurgitating Kos or Huffington. I don't read either. In fact this is one of two forums I visit. And the other one is related to my business. I actually come up with my own ideas.
And back to the question. I don't know Kennedy. I don't know why you assume that unless you hold some title or have been a pol forever it is impossible to have views that are intelligent. It wasn't her job to do background checks I'm sure. I can see by your comments that you don't think much of her. I don't know why your so pissed off at her. Maybe she is a psychic. Maybe they called her in to do mind melds like Spock. What is the issue? Maybe McCain asks his mom. Thats OK with me. As long as he doesn't ask Dick Cheney to help him.

[Brokaw]: Her people are saying she was never vetted, and now there's a report to day that she didn't want to be vetted unless she was going to be chosen.

[Kennedy]:Well I'm not ... um ... you know. (stamer, blink) I don't know all about that but I can tell you she is obviously serious, uh (blink ... stammer),c-candidate, um ... tremendous ground breaking figure, um ...

She said 'um' and 'you know' throughout the interview more than a 80's valley girl.

Anyhow, I still don't know how/why she was part of the process and she certainly isn't a very good liar. Either that or she's simply part of the process in name only.

As I suspected, it's just an attempt to associate Barack with JFK, and it always helps to have a live body at the convention when it comes time for a round of teary-eyed applause.

Lets accept your analysis. Then what you are saying is that they are using imagery to sell Mr.Obama. Isn't that smart? Don't you want a smart POTUS? Its almost as if they were seasoned politicians.

It's almost as if the more we get of Obama, the less we see any change whatsoever.

Politics as usual. We can only hope all those worked up kids who believed his earlier rhetoric are still paying attention as he shows us how he's just like the rest. Something tells me instead of voting they'll be getting drunk at a frat party anyhow.

I hope you are wrong. And I hope they do good. Obama and Biden. It would be great for you and me if this team restores our countries real power in the eyes of the world and our own people. We know what doesn't work. We just watched it.

Sunday talk show tip sheet

Updated for Sunday,09/07/08

Quote:
With Election Day just two months away, both presidential candidates sit for interviews on the Sunday talk shows, eager to capture some post-convention momentum.

Republican John McCain gets the full half hour on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” his first Sunday show interview since formally accepting the GOP presidential nomination in St. Paul, Minn.

How will the Arizona senator pivot off of his Thursday night acceptance speech and into the fall campaign?

Not to be outdone, Democrat Barack Obama takes his Sunday show turn on ABC’s “This Week.”

What will the Illinois senator have to say about McCain’s surprise pick of Sarah Palin as his running mate?

After Obama, host George Stephanopoulos breaks down the interview and the just-finished GOP convention with New York Times columnist David Brooks, The Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart and ABC’s Martha Raddatz and George Will.

Palin, who's been campaigning with McCain, has no announced plans for any major media interviews. But the Democratic vice presidential nominee, Joe Biden, takes his turn in the hot seat Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Can Biden, who’s been relentlessly on-message for the last few weeks, make it through “Meet” without any of the malapropisms that have so often plagued him in his long political career?

“Meet” moderator Tom Brokaw also chats with New York Times columnist Tom Friedman about his new book, “Hot, Flat and Crowded."

On CNN’s “Late Edition,” a pair of women senators — Democrat Barbara Boxer of California and Republican Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas — debate the red-hot presidential race.

What will they have to say about Palin and independent women voters? Can she help McCain?

Also on CNN, Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, a Democrat, will battle it out with one of McCain’s fiercest defenders, fellow Arizona Republican Sen. Jon Kyl.

Additionally, host Wolf Blitzer looks inside the Obama campaign with one of the senator’s senior advisers, Robert Gibbs.

“Fox News Sunday” also features interviews with two top campaign advisers — Obama senior strategist David Axelrod and McCain campaign manager Rick Davis.

And Davis takes a turn as well on Bloomberg’s “Political Capital,” hosted by Al Hunt.

Finally, on C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers,” top Obama economic adviser Austan Goolsbee is questioned by Martin Crutsinger of The Associated Press and Michael Crittenden of Dow Jones Newswires.
