FOX is an echo chamber. Last night I saw O'Rielly interviewing Glen Beck. I'll bet it was hard to book him for that show.

What was funny is that I just saw O'Rielly interviewing Jon Stewart and Bill couldn't let the man finish a thought without talking over him. But w=hen Beck was on he let him talk and then kept nodding in agreement with anything that came out of Becks mouth. Which wasn't much.

Now they are going to showcase a quitter. Great. I can imagine what a hard hitting interview Chris wallace will give her.

There is a big story about Todd's Involvement in her administration. The guy was throwing his wieght around big time. But I will bet ole Chris either doesn't mention it or lets her stand with a canned answer.
I keep wondering why we are getting her shoved down our throats all the time. Its like the octamom. I could give a rats ass but they keep telling me I need to hear about her. Same with Palin. She represents nobody but her own self interest. They keep putting her on despite her lack of knowledge about anything. And she talks like a cheerleader. You betcha. Wow what a rant. I'm done

The rest of the shows actually look pretty interesting.

Sunday talk shows tip sheet

Updated for Sunday,Feb 14th 2010

Quote:
It’s a VP showdown on this Sunday's television talk shows, as former Vice President Dick Cheney, who's frequently charged the nation is less safe under the Obama administration, appears live on ABC’s “This Week,” while Vice President Joe Biden appears in a taped interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” and live on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Biden will answer questions from Vancouver, British Columbia, where he attended Friday's opening ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Cheney’s appearance on “This Week” will be his first on the show since 2006. ABC News’s congressional correspondent Jonathan Karl sits in the anchor chair.

Former Tennessee rep. and all but declared New York Senate candidate Harold Ford (D) will be on the NBC roundtable.

Other Sunday shows also turn to terrorism and national security, with the White House national security adviser, retired Marine Gen. Jim Jones, stopping by “Fox News Sunday” and CNN’s “State of the Union,” just days after his trip to Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) also appears on Fox, and Liz Cheney, Dick Cheney’s daughter and collaborator on his memoirs due out next year, will be on the roundtable.

Sens. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) and Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), are also on CNN.

CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” hosts former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker, who now chairs the Obama administration's Economic Recovery Advisory Board and is namesake of President Barack Obama’s proposed “Volcker rule” that would place tougher restrictions on big banks.

Bloomberg TV’s “Political Capital” has Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) to discuss financial regulatory reform and the president’s plan to tax banks.

Corker also appears on C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers,” where he'll field questions from CQPolitics.com’s David Clark and Dow Jones Newswires’s Michael Crittenden.

Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) takes to one of this weekend's television talk shows to discuss his surprise announcement that he won’t run for reelection this fall.

And on Saturday and Sunday nights, first lady Michelle Obama appears in a taped interview on Fox News's ”Huckabee,” hosted by 2008 and possible 2012 Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee, to talk about her plan to curb childhood obesity, among other issues.

NBC’s “Meet the Press” has Gen. David Petraeus, commander of U.S. Central Command, and Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-Minn.). Other guests include Indiana Rep. CBS’s “Face the Nation” interviews former Secretary of State Colin Powell, a retired Army general who also was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Bloomberg TV’s “Political Capital” hosts deficit-reduction commission co-chairmen Alan Simpson, the former Republican senator from Wyoming, and Erskine Bowles, who was White House chief of staff for President Bill Clinton.

TV One’s “Washington Watch” has Reps. Tom Price (R-Ga.) and Elijah Cummings (D-Md.).

And Price is also on C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers,” where he'll field questions from POLITICO’s Patrick O’Connor and The Hill’s Jeffrey Young about next week’s White House health care summit.

Sunday talk show tip sheet

Updated for Sunday,Feb 28,2010

Quote:
Thursday’s White House health care summit and the continued push for a jobs bill take center stage on this Sunday’s talk television shows, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) appearing on both CNN’s “State of the Union” and ABC’s “This Week.”

In the pre-taped interview on CNN, Pelosi swipes at Republicans, saying they’re not accurately portraying the elements of the health care debate.

“The point is that we have a responsibility here,” Pelosi said in an advance excerpt. “And the Republicans have had a field day going out there and misrepresenting what is in the bill. But that is what they do.”

CNN host Candy Crowley also talks to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). And Elizabeth Vargas of ABC's “20/20” also hosts Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) on “This Week.”

NBC’s “Meet the Press” has Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and the director of the White House Office of Health Reform, Nancy-Ann DeParle.

CBS’s “Face the Nation” interviews Sens. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) and Kent Conrad (D-N.D.), as well as House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) and Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.). Its roundtable includes POLITICO Executive Editor Jim VandeHei.

“Fox News Sunday” hosts Sens. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) and Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), along with Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).

TV One’s “Washington Watch” has Van Jones, the White House green jobs senior adviser who left amid controversy about his signature on a Sept. 11 “truthers” petition and is now a senior fellow in the Center for American Progress’s Green Opportunity Initiative.

Bloomberg TV’s “Political Capital” hosts Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), chairman of the Senate Banking Committee.

And C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers” talks to Rep. George Miller (D-Calif.), chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, who'll answer questions from The Washington Post’s Perry Bacon and Roll Call’s Steven Dennis.

Hummm OK these three.

CNN host Candy Crowley also talks to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). And Elizabeth Vargas of ABC's “20/20” also hosts Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) on “This Week.”

CBS’s “Face the Nation” interviews Sens. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) and Kent Conrad (D-N.D.), as well as House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) and Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.). Its roundtable includes POLITICO Executive Editor Jim VandeHei.
