I heard the crowd chant "Ryan! Ryan! Ryan!" before this accusation came about.

Then I listened to the clip again, the crowd still went "Ryan! Ryan! Ryan!"

A third time, and I swear I could barely make out a "Mitt Romney!" before the chanting for Ryan started up.

I have a question though, how does one know that they're not being conditioned by the accusation of doctored footage to hear "Romney! Romney! Romney!"? If the subtitles on a screen are supposed to train someone to hear what they're reading, would that also work if we're being told they're really saying something else?

If he was TRULY the object of the initial reaction, he would've never have gone the "Aw shucks" route when Romney included him after the chants....

His reaction was "You didn't have to include me in your chant"...If the chant was for him in the first place, he never would've done that...

Fascinating that Romney haters will try every angle to defend at all costs...

Not only does politics make you see and think a certain way, it also is now making you hear things that are not there.

Party politics are the ultimate cult. Jim Jones cannot hold a candle to the power it holds over the majority of people.

One of the great mystery of modern life - Do progs actually believe the things they say to your face that are obviously not true, or do they just think you're too stupid not to know they're lying.

I believe liberals think if they admit the truth that the crowd was indeed chanting for Romney, they will be excluded from the Democratic Christmas card list this year and possibly exiled from the party.

Also, by admitting the crowd chanted for Romney, they would be admitting MSNBC indeed edited the tape, and it is against political philosophy to ever admit someone or group from your side was wrong.

Bias trumps truth and decency these days.

The guy offering that post is a right winger, but in this case I don't think the left is going to have a problem with it.

Me personally, I still have a problem with his interpretation, even though I don't have a problem with the basic facts he describes. I disagree with how he interprets the facts, but that's OK. On the right we're allowed to disagree.
