In fact, I think the network will be immunized a bit from any outcry on this precisely because it ran on Bashir’s show rather than someone else’s. He’s already set the bar so cloddishly low that no one can honestly say they’re surprised. Call it “the Bill Maher effect.” Exit question: More or less offensive than Bush’s head on a pike in “Game of Thrones”?

Fairly odd clip. I would like to say I am surprised MSNBC would do something like this, but I am not.

I am sure MSNBC did something similar to Obama. I am going to hold my breath until they do.

You are being hypercritical Redd. None of Bashir's 3 viewers found the idea of fire bombing Romney's bus offensive. The ends justify the means to the Left just look at Occupy.

Explosions, Chris Farley, and Napoleon Dynamite. Everything could go wrong, especially the last one. Hopefully Romney won't feel the need to campaign in Idaho.

All joking aside, as a former MSNBC viewer I thought that this segment was rather tacky. I get the joke behind it, and I don't think anyone was gunning for the "Hopefully Romney's bus will blow up." angle, but it could have been done without the repeated bus explosions.

But some of the people who say this DO believe that Palin's website showing candidates in crosshairs was to intentionally to say "This is the "Hopefully someone will shoot these people" angle...

I have no outrage for what MSNBC did...But I DO notice the hypocrisy that "civility" and "violent rhetoric" is a one-way street...
