Ever clicked on a YouTube vid, and found it's been pulled, and wondered why?

An interesting case popped up recently.

Sixteen year old Madeleine McAulay posted a vid giving her views on same sex marriage. (She's agin it).

The vid was pulled by YouTube.

Teen's Gay Marriage Video Banned By YouTube

YouTube does still allow a clip from Fox and Friends where she discusses the death threats she has received and such.

The website it is touted on is questionable. Having said that I do not see why her vid was pulled ;there are hundreds if not thousands of christian opinions similar to hers on Youtube. What was the reason within the guidelines that was the basis for the expulsion?

Okay, this one is more about us than you. YouTube staff review flagged videos 24 hours a day, seven days a week to determine whether they violate our Community Guidelines. When they do, we remove them.

I'd say she was flagged a lot and they considered it hate speech. Just a guess on my part though.

I think like the right started their own news service to push their hate agenda they should start their own video upload service. They could call it RudeTube Or Redtube Or GOPtube,

There are conservative video outlets. They don't have the accessibility YouTube does though. A little influx of money though, and who knows.

More interesting though, you two left-leaners seem to be saying YouTube is yours. If the right don't like it, they can start their own.

I'm not sure that's a view even YouTube itself wants to encourage, but if they do, then I agree with you. Perhaps it is time for a ConTube, and maybe YouTube can change its name to ProgTube.

If it comes to that though, you lose the argument concerning whether the more popular right wing cable outlet, Fox news has a right to exist, and don't be whining when YouTube all of a sudden has a vastly decreased membership similar to that of CNN, or MNSNBC.

Also this sort of nonsense is what started the Right's war with the mainstream media. Perhaps now the zombified recruits of Progworld are able to see the point of that one now that they can see its genesis in action.

Don't count on it.....
