This isn't good or bad, it's STUPID. First of all, the issue is so black and white that only the biggest idiots in the country would ever come out in opposition to the idea that Augusta should admit women as members. So why is this even news??? If the President stated that he didn't like the smell of a skunk's spray, most of us would ask why this was ever reported on because we pretty much ALL have the same opinion.

I ask the same questions when bloggers find "news" about Michelle's organic garden.
But honestly I don't know why a "club" should be forced to admit anyone. Why call it a club? Why not call it public access?

I agree that Augusta shouldn't be forced to accept women, just as I agree with the President that they should do it anyway. The point is that this isn't news, since what's being reported on is an attitude that is most likely shared by about 99.99999% of Americans.

This is just more White House campaigning diversion, diverting attention from the actual problems of the country - just like the Fluke/Limbaugh thing, the making an issue of the non-issue of contraception, and the uncalled for hyping of race into the Trayvon Martin affair.

It's all just classic Allinskyesque diversion, and will only get worse as the election gets closer.
