I really might get addicted to this girl. Melissa Harris Perry. I saw her first broadcast and I was like huh, wish her well, she looked a little nervous but there was something she might say from a different perspective
Wow! I watched part of her show today and I loved it! Not the least of what pleased me was that in her panel of guest commentators she has a gal who is stout and one other who is elderly.
She's just a breath of fresh air imho.

They discussed things like the current events of course but also the dynamic of women and minorities in world affairs, as well as what place ethics has in business.

fixin ta go back on the road so I'll probably have to catch up via internet but I think I may be all in for the MHP!

A sweet looking girl number one. Someone very cute and easy on the eyes with a bubbly personality. She is more left than me but lordy knows I watch and listen to a lot of 'nazi sounding patriarchal crap' from the other side.

All is opinion. I just like a different one now and then.
Anyway I'm glad her show took off and she seems to be doing well with it, I enjoy the commentary especially the deeper view that some in her panel give. We haven't heard from that genre in a long time.
So I'm not trying to convince you to watch. I just don't watch a lot of tv at all and I find it sweet that I do at least enjoy one commenter out there.

I already spoke about how I often listen to broadcast more conservative than my tastes run to. I think a variety is good.Keeps one from being narrow minded and stale.

My daughter has been trying to interest me in mindless tv sitcoms and dramas so I can better connect with the world around me.
no really, there is a disconnect there, and I'm tired of always facing the wind
I am also watching "Once Upon a Time" and ...hold the phone...a reality show! It's called "The Voice"
