Default Morning Joe Show

I watch MJ in the a.m. if I am around. I think they often influence the perception of politics. Not always correctly. Today everyone on the show agreed that the congress is not going to work with Obama even though they like everything in his bill. But in the same breath they said this is Obama's fault. Even if they do it to the point of hurting the country. Don't ask me...I am dumbfounded

BTW what is the purpose of Willie Giest. Is he on the payroll or do they simply have him there as outreach program for the children of actual writers? Or did MSNBC lose a bet?

Where are all the feminists reactions when every time Mika opens her mouth Joe talks over her.

It should be a crime for Joe to mention "95-96". He say's it everyday. Those are the two most important years of his life I guess.

I also watch MJ on occasion,I like the fast pace of the show and some of the interesting and well informed guests. I believe the needs of our people have taken a backseat to the political ambitions of our legislators. Congress now has the lowest ratings in US history and those low ratings are well deserved. We need to get money out of politics, lobbyists should never have priority access to our legislators, the people should have priority access. This is why we're seeing the Tea Party and Occupy movements gaining traction. Our politics has turned into a sporting event with partisans rooting for their team even when their team hurts the people. It's no longer simply a matter of one's ideology,it's now more about attaining or retaining power.

I believe Willie is being groomed for his own show. I don't care for his delivery or his style but somebody at the top over there likes him.

Yeah,I noticed that too,in the past several months she's been systematically demoted to just reading the news headlines.

I believe Joe will eventually return to public service. I see him as a moderate conservative and the time may be right for him to return to the game....enter Willie Giest.
