It's a ratings thing me thinks. KO is too polarizing so he's got to go.
Well he did have the highest ratings at MSNBC, and they were at least beating CNN basically all day in the ratings... so perhaps it and something to do with the deal? Mebbe Keith said something about net neutrality that Comcast didn't like...

Or he'll switch sides and join Herr Murdochen and Bill O'Liely and Sean Vanity on Faux News.

Fox News has been ahead for a very long time, that's no reason for MSNBC to dump their best man. That's pretty stupid really, if they're trying to fight FNC's viewership share I mean. In fact, just a couple of years ago, the ratings gap was quite a bit bigger than that. You can search through these archives from TVNewser, they have the Neilsen ratings from over the past five years for the news channels.

I'm sorry but I'm not buying the ratings argument.

He's toxic. They probably wanted to dump him before now. He was suspended a few months ago, which may have been laying the groundwork.

This is just more proof the right is trying to silence the voice of the left.

General Electric, you go to hell!
The right trying to silence the left? You have got to be joking. The reson Oberman is gone and there is no liberal talk radio except tax doller funded NPR is that the liberal point of view cannot stand the light of day. Hardly anyone listens to that crap.

The left trying to silence the left is the reality again because they cannot compete with the likes of Rush, Beck et.al. That is why they are trying to impliment the "Fairness Doctrine". The "Fairness Doctrine" has nothing to do with "fairness' and everything to do with gaging any point of view not in step with the Obama Zombies.

Keith Olbermann -- Fired By MSNBC | TMZ.com

It's starting to look like it may really be because of the comcast merger. Keith Olbermann -- Fired By MSNBC | TMZ.com

Who is left to stand up for the everyday man? Now it's mostly either centered or right wing (big business). Great
