Default CNN's O'Brien: As President, Her Priority Would Be to 'Improve Public Schools'

"n a Politico interview yesterday, CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien provided some insight into herself. No, not in the part where she admits to cursing "all the time." It was her response to another question:

If you were the president of the United States for enough time to make only one executive decision, what would it be?

Improve public schools.

None of that preserving, protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States for Soledad. Or faithfully executing the laws. Or protecting our country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Or serving as Commander in Chief."

CNN's O'Brien: As President, Her Priority Would Be to 'Improve Public Schools' | NewsBusters.org

Doesn't she know that education is NOT a primary responsibility of the President let alone the Federal Government? That the President has many many more primary responsibilities?

Number one I did not know she curses a lot. My respect for her is escalated to heights I never imagined. Cursing clears the sinuses and runs all the men out of the house.
I am mightily in favor of the practice among women folk!
Secondly what is it about some people who do not want to see us have an intelligent group of kids graduate from high school and go on to college and/or productive citizenship elsewhere?
You gotta get outta that Slave/Master mentality.
Feudalism anybody?

You've missed the point entirely. Simply because someone understands that public education is NOT a primary responsibility of the federal government, much less the President, does not mean that person doesn't support 'improving public schools'.

I support improving public schools -- by taxing locally and making decisions locally and saving money by not having overlapping redundant beauracracies at the district, state, and federal level. The Department of Education need not exist. There should be an undersecretary to the Secretary of the Interior with some worker bees who crunch numbers and make suggestions to the states. No Child Left Behind is living proof that Bush was no conservative.

And you kiss your f**king husband with mouth...

women swearing never bothered me. I was in the bar business for many years and you get a woman with a few drinks in her and piss her off, then you'll hear swearing.
