![]() Why? She did it last year, a vulgar remark yelled at someone in the audience. So why do they bring her back and why is that "funny" at all. It is stupid and pathetic comedy.
"For the second straight year, comedian Kathy Griffin ushered in the new year by saying something vulgar on CNN. During the network's live New Year's Eve broadcast from Times Square, Griffin was joking with co-host Anderson Cooper about how to pronounce the first name of "balloon boy" Falcon Heene when she mumbled something that sounded a little like "Falcon" and a lot like the F-word." Newsmax - Kathy Griffin Makes Another Vulgar Quip On CNN And the target is some little kid who was placed in a situation by his parents stupidity. You've really got to have a low intellect to think this is humorous in any way at all. |

That's funny? What lame humor. "Gee what can I do to be funny tonight on a national show, something really funny and creative and witty..................hmmmm I sneak F*** in there somewhere! Yeah that will make them laugh, THAT's entertainment! I'm brilliant!" Last edited by Stinger; 01-02-2010 at 04:25 PM.. |

![]() There's a time and place for this kind of crassness, and this wasn't it...Redd Foxx, Richard Pryor, and George Carlin...3 masters of the curseword...wouldn't even come close to saying anything of that sort on this stage...
![]() Unless of course, CNN wants to attact the kind of people that don't find this stuff crass... ![]()

But this just reminds me of little children who learn a "dirty word" and then sneak into their bedrooms and say it to each other and think it is so funny..... What is so funny about saying f***? I recall a business trip to New York and they flew the wives up for the weekend. One of the guys at the office there went out of his way to get everyone tickets to the big comedy club of the day. A bunch of us go and this guy comes out and has some other guy in the back with a mic doing farting sounds, he would start to say something and then act like he was farting while the guy in the back would make the sound. Not only was it a "been there done that" thing but after about 10 minutes people began to leave, we tried to bear it out to be nice to the guy who got the tickets but finally he had had enough and we got up and left. But the guy on stage thought it was the funniest thing he'd ever done...... ![]() It was totally juvenile and what I expect from my four and three year old grandkids. |

![]() The only time I watch CNN is New Year's Eve with Kathy and Anderson - it's all in fun and I love that she can make Anderson "Andy" Giggle! It's all stupid fun just to make people like you all get all upset.
Brian Thomas | January 1, 2010 2:32 PM What is "fun" about calling a little boy "f******" instead of his real name? That is the best this comic wit could come up with? |
