Again, infection is much more likely to come from contact than aerosol transmission. Fortunately school age children have very low transmission rates and very high survival rates from Covid-19 and variants.

Now, but there wasn't a second dangerous variant, now there are two; we weren't looking at forever quarantine till conspiracy theory took over half the country's mind set.
My sister almost died with covid-19 because she did not get the vaccine. My youngest brother had the vaccine but because of people not masking nor getting shots, he now has it, hopefully a mild case. And a mild case is painful anyways. Guess where they both live? Florida! Where the leadership is awol and has been since before the first covid-19 case.
