Everyone involved in not properly checking the water source and not sufficiently cleaning the water before dispensing it to the public should be criminally charged, found guilty and sent to prison for a very long time.

Here's what's REALLY happening...

The Democrat working for a Democrat governor THREW OUT the previous charges made by the previous Republican State Attorney General...and then turned around and indicted Republicans...:mad

Quote:

State Attorney General Dana Nessel appointed Hammoud and Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy to investigate the case, throwing out earlier charges brought by her predecessor, Bill Schuette.

Nessel is a Democrat, and Schuette, a Republican like Snyder, ran unsuccessfully for governor in 2018.
Here's an article from 2019 with more detail...

All Flint water crisis criminal charges dismissed by attorney general's office — for now

Quote:

The Michigan Attorney General's Office has dismissed all pending criminal charges arising from the Flint drinking water crisis, saying the initial investigation was bungled and it is opting to launch a new but expanded probe.

The office announced on Thursday the dismissal of charges against all eight remaining defendants, including involuntary manslaughter charges against Nick Lyon, the former director of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Charges were also dismissed against other officials from the health department, plus two former Flint emergency managers and current or former employees of the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the City of Flint.
The whole thing is political...Standard operating procedure...:(

if I remember correctly a lot of cities-and Detroit was one-had emergency 'committees' take over from their elected or appointed city management. these committees were, to my understanding, directly subject to the governor directly.

In my county, the water is checked at least daily. If I get a mortgage on a home on a well, the water is checked. Lying idiots knew, or should have known. Either way, they belong in jail.

Not really proof that its political. Doesn't really do any good to charge anyone if you don't have all the evidence you need.Former governor Rick Snyder was negligent. He appointed the people responsible for the Flint Water crisis.
