I need to read up on this incident. I have heard a report that this may have been staged in an effort by the teachers to get rid of the Superintendent. However that may have just been speculation by the hosts of the radio program I was listening too.

On video, the officer seemed to be directing Hargrave to leave, having monopolized the meeting for some time. She pulled away and ignored him. She chose to be an activist in this matter. I'm not sure what happened as she left the court room. Did she again ignore the officer and try to return? Did she slap or push him?

I don't understand why the super thinks he is entitled to more of the people's money for doing doodly squat. Defenders of legal thieves chiming in in 4...3...2...

Never mind the "no question and answer" session baloney of the meeting.

“I have reviewed the video and I am not going to approve any charges against the teacher,” city attorney Ike Funderburk said. “I talked with the attorney for the school board, and they do not wish to pursue any charges against the teacher.”

Situations like this always bug the piss out of me.
An arrest is made but the charges quickly dropped. The obvious intent being a defacto legal intimidation tactic.
